I love the two-toned coloring in these Porcupine Quills! Not only are they extremely lightweight, but they are just very different - each pair is unique! They feature 24k Gold Plate crescent moons with a hammered texture and a satin finish. Delicate Porcupine Quill hangs at the bottom. I have painted the tips of the Quills with a gold metallic oil-based paint.

These quills are harvested from live porcupines with minimal effort. They fall out easily and regrow quickly. A typical method involves touching or laying some fabric over the porcupine and then simply removing it. Numerous quills come out easily into the fabric.
